A complaint was lodged with the BCCSA against the e.TV programme Smoke and Mirrors, that was broadcast between 09:00 to 09:30 on 01 and 02 December 2025. The Complainant is of the opinion that the episodes portrayed African spirituality as an Evil thing, and that African spirituality is portrayed as something that is there to hurt people.
