The first applicant alleges that ‘The Devi Show’ severely distorted and misrepresented facts regarding his involvement in illegal activities related to scrapping vehicles and selling engines. The applicant also alleges an infringement of his privacy. The second applicant’s grounds of appeal are similar to that of the first applicant except the ground of appeal that the Adjudicator did not consider Anthus’ position independently and of course the infringement of privacy. The Adjudicator found no contravention of the Code in terms of Clauses 28.2, 28.3 and 28.4. Both complainants apply for leave to appeal in separate applications for leave to appeal.
