Material broadcast before the watershed period, considered harmful to children. It is the duty of the BCCSA Tribunal to protect children within the broadcasting environment and accordingly takes the latter duty with utmost high regard. With that duty in mind, the Tribunal is thus compelled to state that the respondent failed to exercise the necessary precaution prior to the broadcast of #FillUpTheDome concert and thus contravened the provisions of the broadcasting code of conduct clauses 6(1), (11) and 7(3) respectively. The

fact that this is a repeated contravention of the Broadcasting Code, the Tribunal came to the conclusion to impose a fine of R20 000.
