Four Complainants lodged complaints with the BCCSA that the broadcast of promos on different televisiondays, but all after the watershed, was in contravention of the Code. The gist of their complaints was that the promos glamorised rape and promoted the abuse of women. The Tribunal found that glamorising rape was not the intention of the broadcaster and, objectively looked at, did not have this effect. Because of the graphic scenes of sexual violence in the episode, it was deemed necessary to warn viewers of what was to come. This in itself was not in contravention of the Code.
