A complaint was received by the Registrar against Kaya FM. The complaint concerns the use of the word “moer” by on-air personality DJ Fresh (Thato Sikwane) during a live broadcast of The DJ Fresh Breakfast on Kaya FM 95.9. The word was uttered during an interview with a 12- or 13-year-old guest, Olebile Sefolo, who was being recognized for his achievements as a champion practical shooter.
