ADJUDICATION NO: 16/A/2025 – STRIME VS 702 – HATE SPEECH AND BALANCE

A complaint was lodged with the BCCSA against Radio 702 for broadcasting an interview that allegedly depicted hate speech against Israel, portrayed incorrect facts (not opinions) and made no effort to obtain an opposing view.  The impugned interview was broadcast on 1 February 2025 at 20.30 on the Bongani Bingwa Show.
