This case is about a complaint of a promo that advertised a collage of movies on other DStv 
channels, showing material unsuitable for children, during a break in a programme on Disney XD Channel, a children’s programme. The broadcaster conceded that the promo was unsuitable for broadcasting on this channel and at this time and blamed it on human error. It appears that the broadcaster twice before during this year conceded to a contravention the Code under similar circumstances. There are also cases before 2014 where similar contraventions by this broadcaster occurred. We have decided to impose a sanction of R15 000 (fifteen thousand rands).
