CASE NO: 04/2015 – HERBST AND DU PLESSIS VS SABC2 – CHILDREN

The Commission upheld complaints that two episodes of the 18:30 Sewende Laan programme contained scenes that were far too violent for a 13 PG-V warning. This finding resulted from two episodes that dealt with a violent attack on a café. Indeed, the Commission also questioned whether this kind of material should be broadcast at all at such an early hour in the evening.
