News report about Cosatu complaining that restaurants in Cape Town are charging exorbitant prices and that this practice is harming the tourism industry. The owner of one such restaurant (Hildebrand Restaurant) complained that his establishment was singled out as one of the culprits by the manner in which the camera shots in the news item focused on his restaurant. After viewing a video clip of the news item, the Tribunal found that there was no evidence that the Respondent targeted only or mainly the Complainant’s establishment, thereby causing it to suffer damage. There was thus no unfairness and no contravention of the Code. The complaint was dismissed.
