Black Comedy with violence should have been subjected to 18 restriction for V in spite of 16V which was imposed for televisioncinema by the Film and Publication Board in 1999.

In cases of doubt it would be wise for TV – even subscription TV – to rather increase an age restriction. TV is a readily accessible medium. The film having been subjected to a 16, only under sixteen year olds would have been excluded by way of the M-Net parental mechanism, which allows parents to block out films with certain restrictions.

In the present case it would have been prudent to have imposed an 18 restriction.
