Host of talk show commenting that Bible was written by men and not necessarily the word of God, a radioGod who, according to adherents in South Africa, supported Apartheid and was discriminatory against oppressed people. Host stating that his God was a different God, a God who did not discriminate between people and treated all Peoples on an equal level. 

BCCSA holding that it was of the very essence of talk radio that it could be provocative and in the process even convey the personal views of the host. Limits set by the Code not contravened. 

BCCSA however upholding complaint insofar as host conveyed the e-mail address of the persons who had criticized his views in an earlier programme. No excuse that other callers with the same name complained that the name could involve them. 

Observation: That the general impression created by the host is that he conducts a monologue and does not grant callers a fair opportunity to say their say. Respondents’ representatives conveying that presenter is aware of the problem and that he is attending to the issue. No finding made on this matter, since not covered in initial complaint.
