BCCSA holding that, except when there are special circumstances present, the Certificates 
of the Film and Publication Board must be applied when a feature film is shown on TV. This is especially true in cases where the present Board has classified a film, whether by way of an original decision or by way of a confirmation on re-appraisal by the Board of a previous certificate.
The Respondent, in screening LA Confidential and Platoon ( both with Film and Publication Board age restrictions of 18 plus classification) with an age restriction of under 18 before the watershed, contravened the Code. This was also true of The Lincs, which is part of a series: the specific episode should have been subjected to an age restriction of 18, although it was broadcast at 21:30.
