SABC3 - News - Report on a the Rape of a Lady Motorist - Complainant that Emphasis was Placed on the Heartbreak and Sadness of One of the Criminals.

Active ImageComplaint that shot rape suspect’s family was treated with sympathy, not upheld.  The family were clearly concerned about what had happened.  There was no need, in this case, for the Respondent to have gone out and sought the views of the family of the raped woman.  There was no evidence that they were readily available or whether they were available at all.
